On Friday, February 21st 2020, Glenelg High School’s GBC (Glenelg Broadway Connection) theater production presented an astounding performance of the entertaining and popular movie, Shrek. Shrek is an action/fantasy movie about an Ogre falling in love with a princess where they embark many adventures and experience many obstacles throughout their lives. Led by our theater advisor Ms. Sharp, Glenelg’s GBC program is a peer and special needs theater club where students are partnered with special needs students in Glenelg. The students help the special needs students learn the music, acting, and the dances for the production and rehearse for a show that they perform once a year. The GBC show presents one performance during school hours and one performance for parents and the public at night.
