Bell West is a Senior, (class of 2025) editor in chief, and student journalist/podcaster enrolled in Journalism III with  a keen interest in reading, writing, and reporting. West enjoys connecting with her peers and friends through many different mediums including being a member of the Glenelg Color Guard and as Vice President for Black Student Union. West hopes to continue to expand her knowledge of journalistic reading, writing, editing, reporting, and publication in her final year with The Shield. West says she hopes to write pieces that will highlight important and interesting topics both in and out of the Colossium. West is excited for a brand new year and season and she hopes readers are too!
