Laurel Kutz is a junior and a first year member of the Glenelg Shield. She is excited to experience a new journalistic environment, and write all sorts of articles this year. Kutz strives to be creative in her everyday life, so journalism will be a new way of expressing her views. Around school she is involved in creating the Yearbook, co-president of GEO (Glenelg Earth Organization), and a member of Gladiators for Social Justice. When not writing for the Shield, you could usually find her spending time with friends and family, reading, and doing homework.
