Since the Parkland shooting, the eighth deadliest shooting in modern US history, there has been an uproar of student-led protests. Several national school protests and walkouts have been planned and have reached national attention. Students are angry, and it seems nothing can stop their tide of righteous activism. Since January, select Dunkin’ Donuts locations in the Northeast have been making some significant changes. These select restaurants have removed the “Donuts” from their name and also removed some items from the menu as a sort of trial run for the changes to come. The changes to the name have been reportedly made in an effort to separate the chain from their reputation of being a place for just coffee and donuts. By Bethany Stewart
