1. Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros
Fourth Wing by Rebecca Yarros: Fourth Wing, a thrilling romantic fantasy novel where the main character, Violet Sorengail, is thrown into a dangerous, dragon filled world, is the first novel in what is expected to be a five book series by Rebecca Yarros. I would describe the book as
How to Train your Dragon meets Hunger Games with the enemies to lovers trope. Immediately after beginning the book, I could tell it was going to become a five star read. As the main character, Violet is relatable and unique, which I loved about her, and you will likely find yourself rooting for her survival throughout the course of the story. The world building is fantastic and understandable, unlike some other fantasy novels whose settings can be overwhelming. If you enjoy fantasy, romance, and unthinkable plot twists that will hook you from the start, you’ll love Fourth Wing.

2. One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig
One Dark Window by Rachel Gillig: Elspeth Spindle is the main character, and her mind has been invaded by a monster she has named Nightmare. It’s been 11 years since Nightmare invaded her mind, and she has a dark secret that is about to be discovered by none other than the Captain of the Destriers, the cruel king’s nephew, Ravyn Yew. But Ravyn isn’t as cold and inhuman as he originally appears to be. He and Elspeth begin to create a bond as they start their journey of searching for all of the Providence Cards, which they need to save their kingdom. One Dark Window is a slightly confusing fantasy read, and even though I loved the romance and storyline, the slightly underdeveloped worldbuilding can make it hard for some readers to fully enjoy the book. Even though I loved it, rating the book five stars, this book is definitely not for everyone, so I’d only recommend taking this book on if you have time to sit down and take the time to fully comprehend what you are reading.

3. Archer's Voice by Mia Sheridan
Archer’s Voice by Mia Sheridan: This romance novel features two tragic events: the one that made Archer Hale lose his voice, and the trauma that caused Bree Prescott to leave her hometown. The book is intoxicating, and difficult to put down for even a moment. The flashbacks to Archer’s childhood that are in between present day’s point-of-view of Bree are mysterious, and every time Archer’s flashbacks end, it makes you continuously wonder, what happened to him? This five star read is guaranteed to get you in your feels, so if you need a good cry over a beautiful love story, Archer’s Voice is your next read.
