Vanessa Buechler (j2)Vanessa Buechler is the senior Editor-in-Chief for the Glenelg Shield. Buechler has been involved in Theater and Educator's Rising throughout her four years at Glenelg. Buechler will attend Pennsylvania State University in the fall with the plan to major in Secondary Education! Congrats to Vanessa!
Ariel O'Leary (j1)Ariel O’Leary is a member of the Glenelg Shield. O’Leary has been involved in Dance Company, Poms and Theater throughout her four years at Glenelg. O’Leary will attend Mount St Mary’s University in the fall with the plan to major in Pre Physical Therapy! Congrats to Ariel!

Valerie Menendez (j2)Valerie Menendez is a senior here at the Glenelg Shield Menendez is involved in co-hosting The Shield Forum Podcast. Menendez enjoys film and television which is why she is intending to major in them at her college SCAD located in Savannah, Georgia this coming fall. Congratulations to Valerie!
Basith Syed (J1)Basith Syed is a member of the Glenelg Shield. Syed has been involved in the Ice Hockey Club as well as The Glenelg Armory throughout his 4 years at Glenelg High School. He plans to enlist in the United States Marine Corps, and later intends to pursue a career in Signal Intelligence after high school. Congrats to Basith!

Blake Hill is a member of the Glenelg Shield. In his four years at Glenelg, he has been heavily involved with the theatre program. He plans to attend HCC this coming fall with a major in music! Congratulations to Blake!
