The Glenelg Democrats Club meets every other Thursday at 2:15 in room 147. We are a chapter of the national High School Democrats organization, and we aim to provide a platform for student involvement in Democratic politics. We help students organize, stay informed, and participate in electing Democratic candidates to local, state, and national office, while advocating for issues that matter to them most.

In the past, our club has hosted guest speakers including Board of Education candidates and the Maryland State Senator from our district. We participated in phone banking for the 2020 elections, and this past fall we hosted a postcard writing event for the off-year election in Virginia. We continue to promote other volunteer opportunities to our members to help everyone get involved in our community.

Everyone is welcome to join, regardless of political affiliation. Reach out to us on Instagram @glenelgdems!
