Top Ten Halloween Costumes For 2017

As Halloween nears, everyone is struggling to find the perfect costume to wear. To help the Glenelg community combat this issue, we asked ten students from all different grades to tell us what their favorite ideas are. Here is what they said:

1. Costume: Witch
   Reason: “This costume is so cute to do alone, or in groups. And there are so many different props to use.”  -Emma FitzGibbon
   
   
2. Costume: Celebrity
   Reason: “I think a celebrity is the best costume to do because people will recognize you and talking to people is a lot easier.” -Campbell Shepard
   
   
3. Costume: Skeleton
   Reason: "I love how this could be turned into something cute, or something really scary!” -Lucy Loazer
   
   
4. Costume: Nurse 
   Reason: “There are so many different ways you could go with this costume!” -Erin Chizmadia
   
   
5. Costume: Alien
   Reason: “I love wearing metallic and glitter, so being an alien is so fun!” -Josie Stubs
   
   
6. Costume: Lifeguard
   Reason: “There are so many different ways to go with this costume. Ten people could be life guards, but they wouldn’t all look the same.” -Emma Letellier
   
   
7. Costume: Referee
   Reason: “I love how easy this costume is to put together, and it’s perfect for groups.”  -Alice Yoon 
   
   
8. Costume: Athlete
   Reason: “I like this costume since there are so many different sports and athletes you can do. It’s also a really good and easy costume for groups.” -Abraham LeFevre
   
   
9. Costume: Cat
   Reason: “It’s a classic, but it never gets old and it’s so cute.” -Megan Lydon
   
   
10. Costume: Zombie
    Reason: “Being a zombie is a classic costume that people have been dressing up as for years. You can be any zombie you want, like a scary or gross zombie, or a cute one!" -Ilhaam Lakhani
