As the holiday season approaches, multiple people are scattering around to get their last minute holiday decorations together. Many decorations can be bought, but who really wants to spend money just to have decorations out for a month? The money and time it takes to go get the decorations is never worth it when there is a simple solution right in front of your eyes. Here is a series of three easy, cost efficient decorations you can make that will only take a couple minutes!

Snowman Bottle
Materials Needed:
-Long, tall bottle (example: Pellegrino Sparkling Water Bottle)
-White paint
-Paintbrush
-Red ribbon
-Three black pom poms
-Black construction paper
 Procedure:
  1. Take your bottle and fully paint it with white paint by using your brush.
  2. Once dry, apply hot glue in three spot going down the bottle. This is where you will then apply the black pom poms to look like buttons.
  3. Next, tie the red ribbon around the top, thinner part of the bottle to represent a scarf.
  4. Finally, cut out construction paper and use glue to form it into a black hat. Apply this hat to the very top of the bottle.

Reindeer Bottle
Materials Needed:

-Brown paint
-Paintbrush
-Black ribbon
-Small, silver bells
-One red pom pom
-Two brown pipe cleaners
 Procedure:
  1. Take your bottle and fully paint it with brown paint by using your brush.
  2. Once dry, apply hot glue and inch thick around the bottle and then place black ribbon over top.
  3.  Next, glue silver bells onto the ribbon to represent the reindeer’s collar.
  4. Then, glue red pom pom to the top, thin section of the bottom to represent a red nosed.
  5. Finally, use the brown pipe cleaners to form antlers of your preferred shape. These can each be placed on a side of the top of the bottle by glue.

Santa Bottle
Materials Needed:
-Long, tall bottle (example: Pellegrino Sparkling Water Bottle)
-Red paint
-Paintbrush
-Black ribbon
-Twine
-Silver rhinestones
-Three silver bells
Procedure:
  1. First, take your bottle and fully paint it with red paint by using your brush.
  2. Once dry, apply hot glue and inch thick around the bottle and then place black ribbon over top.
  3. Then, arrange the silver rhinestones in a square shape on the black ribbon to look like the belt buckle of Santa.
  4. Next, take the twine string and wrap it around the thin section on the top of the bottle.
  5. Finally, apply glue over a small portion of the twine and place the silver bells.
