Bob’s Burgers is the perfect bingeable comedy, filled to the brim with exciting adventures, continuously popping up in the Belcher’s ordinary lives. The show features Bob Belcher, owner of Bob’s Burgers, and his family running a restaurant, trying to pay their monstrous rent, while the kids cause and run from all the drama that elementary and middle school brings.

Bob’s Burgers follows Bob, third generation burger restaurant owner and cook; his wife, Linda, the fun loving excitable mother of Gene who loves music almost as much as he loves making fart noises; the oldest child, Tina, monotoned, boy crazy, and quite shy; and

Louise, the youngest and the chaotic mastermind of the Belcher children.

Bob’s Burgers follows Bob, third generation burger restaurant owner and cook; his wife, Linda, the fun loving excitable mother of Gene who loves music almost as much as he loves making fart noises; the oldest child, Tina, monotoned, boy crazy, and quite shy; and Louise, the youngest and the chaotic mastermind of the Belcher children.

H. John Benjamin voices the titular Bob Belcher, John Roberts voices Linda Belcher both of whom cover various other characters. Kristen Shaal voices Louise (yes, she’s also the voice of Mabel Pines). Dan Mintz and Eugene Mirman voice Tina and Gene, respectively.

The show has an episodic format, while holding onto a larger overarching story, making it enjoyable for long time viewers and those just jumping in! Along with it's quick witted bouncy comedy and electric characters, the way music is weaved into the show is also incredibly unique; ranging from theatrical monologues to performances plotted into the story. These songs are incredibly well written and well sung and comedic. Viewers can later stream these songs wherever one streams music. Stylistically they range from a musical theatre style to covers of popular pop rock music.

The animation style is relatively simple but the attention to detail really pushes Bob’s burgers to 5 stars. There are many recurring characters and featured characters popping in possible seasons apart  so character design is crucial to not only remembering key characters but world-building as a whole. Louise is never seen without her bunny ears, Bob is often mentioned to have poor quality and poor fitting clothing. The characterization paired with the simple animation can quickly make a cartoon stand out and become iconic which is definitely the case with Bob’s Burgers.

A loveable family experiencing their fair amount of hardships while still relying on and taking care of each other? A lot can go wrong but so much more can go right. I’d recommend Bob’s Burgers to anyone looking to binge watch a hilarious, witty and musical cartoon full of chaos and the occasional burger. If you’d like to give this cartoon a watch, you can find it on Hulu.
