The wait is finally over after fans have been waiting over 8 years for the next Red Dead to be dropped which was released Friday, October 26 by Rockstar Games. Red Dead Redemption takes players back into 1899 through the eyes of the protagonist and an outlaw Arthur Morgan, who is a member of the Van der Linde gang. Read Dead has received extreme praises from Metacritic, GamesRadar, IGN Experience and a number of other reviewers receiving 90% or higher on ratings. In Red Dead players are forced to make a living by robbing, stealing, fighting and escaping the law in order to survive across the rugged heartland of America. Players can choose their own path, to be a good or bad guy, and decisions made by players does affect the future of game play.
For those who like action and adventure games, Red Dead Redemption is the perfect for you. There are stunning new game features such as hunting, fishing, crafting. There are so many things to do and so many new characters and people to meet and interact with its overwhelming. The world is now bigger and better than ever. There is now snowy high mountain peaks, alligator infested swamps, grand plantations and thick dense forest. Players will easily sink hours into this game just exploring and taking in the beautiful landscape alone. Creators have said the story mode could be completed after 60 hours of playing time. But no need to worry, there are many other exciting things to explore after you complete the main story mode. Consumers can continue with side stories, which carry on their own little missions and quests for you to complete, feel free to roam about the enormous map, catch and kill legendary animals, win a showdown players can now even bond and feed your horse, which wasn’t available in the first version. Akaash Patel, “[He], bought the special version friday and [he has] been playing all week, and [is] only at 34% progress, this game is going to take forever to complete but it’s so fun”. Patel among a lot of other customers are super happy they get to play the series of Red Dead again after the long wait, but also get to see a whole new type of game. Red Dead Redemption is out on Playstation and Xbox One, but people are still unsure of when the PC version might come out. You can purchase the game physically or digitally and can buy one of three versions the Standard, Special or Ultimate all coming with their own unique features such as a new individual war horse, gifting bonus money in Red Dead and in other Rockstar associated games, free unique guns, new outfits and bonus missions and heists. Kevin Pak agrees with the fact that students should go out and buy Red Dead, “[He has] been a fan of this game since the first one and it has made a drastic amazing change the graphics are so good now and [he] can't wait to see how the game ends”. If players are willing to put the time into this game and appreciate the world around you and the graphics developed by Rockstar Studios this game is just the one for you. Interested players can’t forget about Multiplayer, the mode that is going to be added in November. Multiplayer allows players to connect with people from all over the world, run their own poses, level up and shoot up other gang hideouts to be the number one posse in the lobby. Red Dead Redemption starts at $59.99 and this game is well worth with it for the graphics, experience and fun gamers would have if they were going to purchase and play Red Dead Redemption.
